The Power of the Ocean
GUIDES, News, Spa & Wellness — By romana on May 18, 2010 at 1:43 pmLocated in one of the world´s most beautiful settings, The Club at El Rincon in Pedregal de Cabo San Lucas helps you to connect with nature in illuminating, healing ways.
Oceans of Emotion
The sea has long been a symbol of cleansing and rebirth. In many creation myths, the ocean was the void out of which the Earth was born. Science has reinforced this early belief, as evolutionary theory pinpoints the sea as the original source of life on the planet. And as human bodies are more than half water, in the pulse of the waves and rhythm of the tides you may be reminded of your heartbeat, your breath, and all the ways in which life is cyclical and never-ending.

The various moods of the ocean – calm, stormy, cold, warm, dark blue, grey, or aqua-marine – reveal how responsive and reflective water can be, and suggest capacities your mostly fluid self has as well. The constant movement of the ocean can smooth sharp shards into sea glass or wear down rock into soft sand, demonstrating that transformation is possible with persistence and time.

Seemingly boundless when you stand on the shore and bottomless when you look past the surface, the ocean makes you lose your sense of geographical and emotional boundaries (and physical ones). Aptly some psychologists have used the term oceanic feeling to describe the perception of boundlessness or the eternal.

Ocean exploration
Connect with the ocean and water movements daily at The Club El Rincon, where you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean, watch whales during until late March and nap in our relaxation area, overlooking the blue ocean until the end of the horizon.

The Club offers spa and wellness treatments that have all the oceanfront properties, which will help you to cleanse and restore, and balance with Baja’s inspiring nature.
