The Cabo Yacht Party brought great enjoyment and did good!

At the end of February ESCAPES team participated in an event on a yacht, sailing around Cabo San Lucas marina and landmarks. As yacht parties and events are quite often here at the South of Baja, I need to stress that this was a very special event – The Cabo Yacht Party.

The Cabo Yacht Party, this year in its 3^rd edition already, hosted by Mango Productions, was created to propose an alternative to Los Cabos Night life. The idea was to organize a magnificent cruise around the bay of Cabo San Lucas with unique European House music brought to you by the finest European DJs.

This time, the party hosted Dj Pepperpot from Paris, France. Pepperpot has been an unavoidable figure on the French electronic scene, and the response of the attendants of The Cabo Yacht Party 2010 proves that music has no limits. The crowd was dancing to the late morning hours.

Besides bringing lots of fun and entertainment, the event was a perfect place to share a unique experience and being a philanthropist as the event’s proceeds went to the Tres Deseos Foundation, assisting Los Cabos children teaching them, Paintings, Percussions, sports, Prehispanic & African Dance. At this year’s event they gathered $ 1,600 USD for the foundation, and the Foundation is receiving individual donations from guests who attended the event as well.

The wish of 3 Deseos Foundation is to form a social organization whose mission is dedicated to creating key opportunities that open doors to Responsibility, Opportunity, and Education through Artistic Expression for the youth of Los Cabos.

The full moon above the Land’s End and midnight cruise on CaboRey yacht, accompanied by great music created a beautiful ambiance at the event. And we enjoyed so much more, as we knew it is for the benefit of the children in need.
